Type IP Blended Silica Fume Cement: High Performance, Low Permeability

Type IP Blended Silica Fume Cement puts silica fume, a highly reactive pozzolan, to work with in a blended cement. The result is denser, low-permeability, high-strength concrete for bridge decks, parking structures, and marine exposure, and other concrete structures where extended service life is essential. This cement meets ASTM C150 and C595 specifications.

Density Is Durability

Silica fume particles are a fraction the size of cement grains, so they fill the spaces cement alone leaves behind and react to form additional binder. The concrete that results is denser and less permeable, which gives it a strong, well-documented defense against chloride ingress, sulfate attack, and the corrosion of reinforcing steel.
